В сентябре 2022 г. был мобилизован с воинской части 69647 г. Кяхта. Исполнял обязанности связиста.

В августе 2024 г.получил осколочные ранения ног и руки. Пройдя реабилитацию в полевом госпитале снова встал в строй. 29 ноября 2024 г. Гвардии рядовой Батор Игоревич героически погиб, выполняя боевое задание в ходе проведения специальной военной операции на территории ДНР.
